UW Camp: Offensive Standouts

Check out offensive standouts from Wisconsin's one day camp Sunday on campus.

Check out Scout.com's list of offensive standouts from Sunday's Wisconsin camp:

Nathan Veloz, Oak Creek (WI) High

Arguably the biggest player in attendance was the local offensive lineman in Veloz, who looked every bit of 6-4, 310-pounds. He used his hands very well today and showed nice strength to stonewall defenders and drive them back. The coaches were keeping an eye on him and we will see later down the road if an offer could come from the Badgers?

David Edwards, Downers Grove (Ill.) North

Edwards (pictured): "It was no surprise he had a good day at Wisconsin. It was nice to see him run some routes and reinforce that he was able to get up there and catch the ball. He used his size to his advantage. -- Beth Long

Jordan Steckler, Two Rivers (WI) Washington

A kid that didn't come in with any high ranking or lofty offer list, the lean and powerful 6-5, 270-pound Steckler showed he definitely has potential to play at the next level. He was very consistent when the one on ones took place and after watching him, it was no shocker to hear he earned his first BCS offer today from Northern Illinois. It will be interesting to see how he performs his senior year and if more schools start to take notice.
