Football Recruiting Update: May 27, 2014

Here are several links to Indiana recruiting targets including Ashton, Va. Broad Run CB Chuck Davis who has several offers but lists Indiana as his leader at this time. Read on for several updates from national analysts.

Here are some stories involving Indiana recruiting targets from several of our Scout national analysts for Tuesday, May 27, 2014: 1. Michael B. Clark reported that 2015 cornerback Chuck Davis from Broad Run High School in Ashton, Va. Has more than 10 Division I offers and Indiana is his leader. Among his offers are two other Big Ten schools: Wisconsin and Illinois. LINK

2. Clark also reported that Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes WR Quincy Watts had received an offer from Indiana.

3. Simone Scott reported that Darrion Powers, a DB from Garfield High School in Akron, Ohio, has been hearing from IU. At this point, Powers has two offers: Akron and Buffalo. LINK

4. Beth Long reported that 2015 4-star WR Miles Boykin from Providence Catholic (Ill.) has narrowed his list to 10 schools and Indiana has made the cut. LINK

5. Chad Simmons reports that IU has offered Eagles Landing Christian Academy LB Nick Dawson from McDonough, Ga.

6. Patrick Burnham reported that Tallahassee (Fla.) North Florida Christian WR Christian Philpott may camp with Indiana in June. LINK

7. Dave Berk reported that Kettering (Ohio) Alter ATH Nick Coleman is planning to be at IU June 20. He isn't sure if he will be camping or just visiting. LINK
