Ager does everything well, and combines great athleticism with a strong leaping ability and solid ball handling skills.
2002 freshman year was one to remember for Ager, who demonstrated a mature awareness during big games. Ager averaged 11 points per game during Spartans March Madness run (5 wins), tying for team lead along with shooting 50.0 percent from the field. Scored in double-figures in nine games during the regular season, leading the Spartans in scoring four times.
High School:Averaged 24.5 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals as a senior at Crockett High School. Highly recruited by both Marquette and MSU out of High School, but chose Izzo & Co. in final hour. |
