2001-02/Freshman Season: Played in all 39 games • finished second among UW defensemen with 16 points (3-13=16) • had four two-point games, at Minnesota-Duluth (Nov. 9), vs. Michigan Tech (Nov. 17), vs. North Dakota (Dec. 7) and at MSU, Mankato (Jan. 19) • tallied a power- play goal at Minnesota-Duluth on Nov. 9 • scored a game-winning goal in UW’s 5-0 win over Michigan Tech on Nov. 17.
Career Bests: High Game: two points on four occasions, including 0-2=2 most recently at MSU, Mankato (1/19/02) • High Series: two points, four times.
Before He Was a Badger: Junior Hockey: During the 2000-01 campaign, played for the Texas Tornado of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) • the second consecutive year the UW has gotten a player from the NAHL (Jon Krall played for the Cleveland Barons) • was the league’s second leading defensive scorer with 10-36=46 in 54 games • received first-team all-NAHL recognition and was also a member of the all-star team • Texas finished first in the Western Division with a 40-12-4 mark and posted the second-best record in the 10-team NAHL this past season • team finished second at the Junior National Championships.
College: Previously was a member of the UMass-Lowell hockey team (1999-2000 season).
