2001-02/Sophomore Season: One of only two Badgers to reach double figures in goals scored (12) for both the 2000-01 and 2001-02 season • scored game-winning goals in back-to-back games vs. North Dakota on Dec. 7-8 • set career-bests in goals, assists and points • scored his first career power play goal at Michigan on Nov. 24 • Awards & Honors: Was honored as the U.S. College Hockey Online Offensive Player of the Week on Dec. 11 for play vs. North Dakota (2-1=3, 2 GWG).
2000-01/Freshman Season: One of four players to reach double figures in goals scored (10) • scored his first career game-winning goal at the UW in 6-4 win over Denver in WCHA playoffs • five of his 10 goals came vs. Colorado College • came on down the stretch, scoring 7-5=12 in the final nine games of the season, including 3-4=7 in five playoff games • credited with 32 shots on goal in the final 11 games of the season.
Career Bests: High Game: 2-2=4 vs. Denver (3/9/01) in the first round of the WCHA playoffs • High Series: 2-3=5 vs. Denver (3/9-10/01).
Junior Hockey: 1999-2000: played with the St. Albert Saints of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) • scored 44-41=85 in 63 games for the Saints, finishing second in team scoring • fourth in goals scored in the AJHL • 1998-99: member of the Notre Dame Hounds Midget AAA team where he scored 22-22=44 • Awards & Honors: named to the AJHL Rookie Team (1999-2000) • runner up for the AJHL Rookie of the Year (1999-2000) • was named the Saints’ Rookie of the Year.
