2002-03: Started all 32 games ... named second-team All-Big Ten by the coaches and third-team by the media ... led the conference in steals at 2.03 per game ... second on the team in scoring (12.7 ppg.), assists (3.1 apg.) and blocked shots (16) ... shot .463 from the field (11th in Big Ten) and .387 from three-point range (sixth in Big Ten) ... averaged 13.7 points on 14-26 (.538) shooting with 12 assists and 10 steals during the NCAA tournament ... 1.92 assist-to-turnover ratio (fourth in Big Ten), averaged just one turnover every 21.7 minutes ... hit the game-winning free throw with 0.4 seconds left in the Big Ten title-clinching game vs. Illinois ... season-high 21 points at Temple, making 5-10 three-pointers ...recorded “double-doubles” against UW-Milwaukee (19 pts./10 rebs.) and Minnesota (17 pts./10 rebs.) ... 14 points, nine rebounds and seven assists vs. Penn State (2/1/03).

2001-02: Had one of the best freshman campaigns in UW history ... started all 32 games, tying the UW freshman record ... led the team in minutes at 34.2 ... his 1,094 minutes played were a Wisconsin freshman record and fourth-most among frosh in the nation ... also set UW freshmen records for three-pointers (59), three-point attempts (161), free throws (101) and free throw percentage (.777) ... his 12.3 ppg were second-best on the team and second among Big Ten freshmen ... led the squad in free throws, free throw attempts, free throw percentage, steals (43) and blocks (18) ... recorded 22 double-figure scoring efforts, including eight of the last nine games ... made at least four three-pointers in seven games ... recorded only career “double-double” (21 pts./13 rebs.) in 47 minutes of action against Temple ... attempted Big Ten-record 20 three-pointers (making six) in that game ... followed that up with career-best 24 points, including 10-12 free throw shooting, in 40 minutes at Ohio ... had back-to-back 20-point scoring efforts against Iowa (20) and Michigan (21) to end the regular season, making 8-11 three-pointers in those games ... game-winning steal and lay-up with 4.7 seconds left at hometown UW-Milwaukee ... made 5-6 free throws (including intentional miss) in final 13 seconds of 94-92 overtime upset of No. 16 Ohio State ... first freshman to start a season-opener at UW since Mike Kelley in 1997 ... second-most points (20) in Badger history by a freshman in a season-opener ...
