2006: Earned third letter ... named a semifinalist for Lou Groza Award as nation’s top placekicker ... consensus second-team All-Big Ten selection ... UW Special Teams Player of the Year ... made 15-of-20 FGAs and all 47 PATs ... one of three Big Ten kickers to have made all of his PATs, but attempted more than the other two (Michigan State’s Brett Swenson was 33 for 33 and Penn State’s Kevin Kelly was 30 for 30) ... in conference games, he led Big Ten in overall scoring (8.1 ppg) and field goal percentage (12 of 14, .857) ... in all games, he was Big Ten’s third-leading kick-scorer (7.1 ppg) and fourth-leading scorer overall ... his 92 points were second on team, fourth-most ever by a UW kicker and ninth-most overall in Badger history ... lead Big Ten with 42 touchbacks on 76 kickoffs ... four of his five missed field goal attempts were from 44 yards or longer ... made good on eight straight field goal attempts during one stretch.

2005: Earned second letter handling field goals, PATs and kickoffs ... team’s second-leading scorer with 98 points, second-most in school history by a kicker (record for a kicker is 99 by Matt Davenport in 1998) and fifth-most overall ... set school records for extra points made and attempted (56 of 58) ... named Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week after accounting for 11 points (2-for-2 on FGs and 5-for-5 on PATs) at Hawaii ... three-time UW special teams player of the week.

2004: Earned first varsity letter ... 18 of 53 kickoffs resulted in touchbacks ... averaged 61.6 yards per kickoff ... two-time UW special teams player of the week.

High School: Helped lead his team to 12-1 record and runner-up finish in 2003 Class 11AA state finals as a quarterback, strong safety, kicker and punter … national kickoff champion at Chris Sailer’s Kicking Camp his junior year … as a senior, 93 percent of his kickoffs went for touchbacks and he made 6-14 FGAs (long of 52 yards) and 35-36 PATs … also passed for 1,359 yards and 12 TDs, while making 55 tackles on defense … team captain and MVP … won four letters each in football, hockey and track … coach was Mike Flakus … all-state academic choice.
