| High School: Scout.com's No. 1 ranked defensive end prospect in the nation and a five-star recruit.... Parade All-American... played in the 2005 U.S. Army All-American Bowl... unanimous state player of the year in 2004... No. 7 on Detroit Free Press' “Best of the Midwest” list... Beckum finished his senior campaign with 38 tackles for loss, 16 sacks, seven interceptions, eight forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and four blocked kicks. He also caught 22 passes for 506 yards. Beckum was a three-year starter in 2004... Named second-team all-state in 2002... In 2003, he had 40 solo tackles, 12 sacks and eight interceptions and was named first-team all-state. |
