As a junior, tallied 45 tackles, 12 sacks, and 14 hurries. Hoey was moved up to the varsity at the end of his sophomore year and was was named honorable mention all-state in 2004.
Coach's Comments: "He has a great motor, and he doesn't take any plays off," said head coach Jim Galvin. "If he does get high, he is still able to disengage from the block and get after it. He has great lateral quickness, and a frame that will allow you to put enough pounds on him to play him either inside or outside." |
