Bain's final senior (5-5) stats: 100+ tackles, five sacks, two fumble recoveries, two fumbles caused and one interception returned 34 yds. He's a three-year varsity starter for the Raiders. Had 128 tackles, 21 tackles for loss and five sacks as a junior. Was named all-conference and all-area in 2003.
Bain reports a 3.2 GPA/24 ACT--no retest
Coaches Comments - "Ryan is always giving 110% on the practice field and during games. People are surprised at how big and thick he is. Ryan is 260-pounds right now and he's strong. He benches 400-pounds, squats 500-pounds and his dead lift is around 550-pounds. Ryan is a hitter that's always around the football." -- Bolingbrook coach John Ivlow.
Bain: "I am more aggressive than everyone on the field. I play football with a different mindset than other players. I want to work on everything. I don't think that anyone in high school can consider themself great so I want to keep working to become great."
Scouting Report - A downhill type linebacker that has decent speed. Very good at finding the ball and shedding blocks in the box. Has already gained 30-pounds since the end of his junior season. Projects as a defensive lineman at the next level but could also end up on the offensive line as well if he keeps growing. Definitely one of the top prospects in the Midwest.
