MADISON - Simply put, it was a boo-tiful performance by the Wisconsin football team.
The Badgers rack up over 350 yards of total offense, including over 250 yards on the ground, and the Wisconsin defense limits Purdue to only 99 total yards through three quarters, sending most of the 79,920 fans home happy with a crushing victory over Purdue on Halloween Saturday.
Wisconsin (6-2, 3-2 Big Ten) got three rushing touchdowns from John Clay, a special teams touchdown from Aaron Henry and three field goals from Philip Welch. The Badgers took the opening possession 80 yards for a score and never looked back on a chilly afternoon at Camp Randall.
The win makes Wisconsin bowl eligible for an eighth-straight season, extending the school record, while Purdue (3-6, 2-3) sees its two-game win streak snapped.
