Catching up with Cameron Wright

With Wisconsin coaches looking on, Benedictine junior combo guard Cameron Wright impressed with his athleticism on both ends of the court. Afterward, Badger Nation caught up with the three-star prospect to get an update on his recruitment.

MADISON - Cameron Wright was in Milwaukee this past week with his King James Shooting Stars teammates taking part in the NY2LA Summer Jam AAU tournament. While at the Summer Jam, Wisconsin head coach Bo Ryan and assistant coach Greg Gard watched Wright closely as he turned in yet another stellar performance on the AAU circuit.

Wright currently holds offers from Akron, Cleveland State, Dayton, Indiana, Michigan State and Wisconsin, while he continues to receive heavy interest from Minnesota and Pittsburgh.

Additionally, Wright seems intent on weighing all of his options before he makes his decision on what college will receive his services and has not narrowed down his list of potential destinations.

"I don't have a final list yet," Wright told Badger Nation. "(UW) definitely is still recruiting me hard and I will hopefully make a decision before my next season in high school."

In the meantime, Wright has been polishing all of his skills, "I have been working on everything in my game, I just work hard everyday with ball handling, shooting and really my whole game."
