Frederick Says Yes to Wisconsin

After out performing all the other campers at this week's Wisconsin camp, Walworth Big Foot lineman Travis Frederick accepts a scholarship offer to play close to home at the University of Wisconsin.

MADISON - The commitments keep rolling for the University of Wisconsin.

After his whirlwind summer camp tour, a tour which took him from Minnesota to Iowa to North Dakota State and finally to Wisconsin, Travis Frederick was hands down the best player at this week's Wisconsin camp.

Naturally, Wisconsin extended an offer to the Walworth Big Foot athlete. On Thursday, Frederick gave his verbal commitment and becomes the newest member of the Badgers' 2009 freshman class.

Frederick becomes the fourth Wisconsin high school player to commit to the Badgers and the fourth player this week to give the Badgers their verbal commitment.

One of the top prospects in Wisconsin, Frederick has earned a host of awards and recognitions already in his career, being recognized by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Wisconsin State Journal, WFCA, AP and the Rock Valley Conference.

Frederick has a 5.4 40 time, a max of 365 on the bench and a staggering 600 pounds.
