Bo Ryan would hear nothing of an early exit for his Badgers, who trounced the Michigan Wolverenes 51-34 and will face the Michigan State Spartans in the first semifinal on Saturday.

Junior Joe Krabbenhoft led the Badgers with 12 points against the Wolverines, the second time this season he has led his team in points.

Michigan coach John Beilein watched the Badgers dice his Wolverenes early and often. The Wolverenes only scored 34 points in their quarterfinal loss to the Badgers.

Badger point guard Trevon Hughes ran an effective offense on Saturday, turning the ball over only twice despite having to dribble out of several tricky double teams.

Krabbenhoft gets hammered in second half play. The repeated bumps to the head did not seem to bother the South Dakota native, as he was a perfect 6-6 from the line.

It's usually a good outcome, when Senior Tanner Bronson gets in the game. It's always better when he makes the score sheet.

Krabbenhoft and Senior Michael Flowers were the only two Badgers to hit double figures and both were all smiles as they advance to the semifinals
