Badgers Pass on Blake Ferras

Badgers Pass on Blake Ferras

At this time of the year one thing is certain, the recruiting rumor mill is full hot, with logs being thrown on the fire hourly. One of the hottest topics of conversation for the past week has been the recruitment of City College of San Francisco defensive tackle Blake Ferras.

Badger Nation learned late last night from a source close to the football program that Blake Ferras hasn't been offered a scholarship by Wisconsin. The Badgers have stopped recruiting Ferras and he will not sign a letter of intent to play for Wisconsin on December 19th.

My apologies to all Badger fans and Badger Nation subscribers, when I spoke with C.C.O.S.F coach John Balano a few nights ago, I took him for his word that Ferras was headed to Madison. This is not the case, Ferras WILL NOT be a Badger.

Wisconsin currently has 23 verbal commitments. The Badgers are waiting on defensive tackle Darius Parish to make his decision. Parish visited Madison last weekend and visits Kansas this weekend.
