After ending his recruitment in late June, Wisconsin commitment Kevin Zeitler finally took his official visit to Madison this past weekend. Zeitler, a 6-foot-4, 284-pound offensive lineman from Milwaukee (Wis.), took some time out of his busy weekend to share some highlights about his visit.
Immediately after arriving in Madison,
Kevin Zeitler
’s hectic weekend began. “We arrived in Madison at 2:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon” he said. “From there we had a reception at Camp Randall and that is where I met my host
John Moffitt
”.
Moffitt a RS freshman from West Haven, Connecticut did a good job showing the Badger commitment an outstanding time. “We got along real well; He’s a pretty cool guy and a good host, he’s real easy to get along with”.
Later that evening the
Wisconsin
staff had even more in store for the official visitors, “Yeah later that night we attended the football banquet. It was pretty cool, it was a good event.”
Zeitler went on to discuss his events on Saturday.
“Then Saturday morning we all toured the facilities in Madison”, stated Zeitler. “Even though I have been their before they are still impressive; they are still the best around.”
When asked if played any role this weekend in trying to convince
Darius Parish
to add his name to the Badger class of ’08, he said, “Yeah I talked to him about it; we had a talk.”
Zeitler went on to say, “He’s a really cool guy, really big too!”
As for what the future holds for Kevin Zeitler, “I’ll be wrestling this winter, then working hard in the weight room this spring; getting ready for the football season.”
With a scholarship offer waiting to be signed and a state championship under his belt, Kevin Zeitler is living a dream, “It is absolutely awesome; it was the perfect way to end my high school football career” he said. “I can’t wait until I get to Madison.”
