Wisconsin Athlete Getting Calls

Bradie Ewing

We'll be focusing today on a few prospects who are hoping to get a Wisconsin scholarship offer, one of those prospects is Bradie Ewing, a 6-foot, 211-pound, athlete from Richland Center, Wis., and Ewing is having an outstanding senior season.

"I don't have any offers right now but I'm getting calls on a weekly basis from a lot of schools." Bradie Ewing said.

"Purdue, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Minnesota, UNLV, Air Force, South Dakota State and North Dakota State are the schools calling right now.

"I've been to several schools on unofficial visits including Wisconsin a couple of times and I'm going to Purdue this Saturday for their game with Ohio State.

"My favorites are the schools that are calling me. If they think enough of me to call every week, those are the schools that I'd like to play for. I'm completely open right now.

Richland Center coach Ed Levy had this to say about Ewing.

"We run a double-wing offense and Bradie Ewing is our work-horse," Coach Levy said. "Bradie is a versatile athlete that could play on either side of the ball in college. He's leading the state in rushing right now.

"I've had a ton of schools call and ask for senior film of Bradie. Some schools say they see him as a half back others are saying fullback or linebacker. Bradie ran a legit 4.5 at the Badgers summer camp. He's extremely explosive"

Ewing rushed for 1,168 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior and so far in 2007 he has rushed for 1,520 and 18 touchdowns. Richland Center currently has a 4-2 record.

Ewing is also a three-sport athlete, lettering in basketball and track. He carries a 3.67 GPA in the classroom and scored 22 on his ACT.
