Cooper played in 12 games for Wisconsin in 2006 -tying for fourth on team with 6.5 TFLs and tied for third with 4.0 QB sacks for 18 yards. Cooper made two solo stops and forced a fumble in win over 12th-ranked Arkansas in Capital One Bowl and was named one of the starting defensive ends by Bret Bielema this past Wednesday, being listed ahead of Kurt Ware who's coming off knee surgery. Cooper will have access to full academic support services, but will no longer be a part of the football program in any other way.
