Luke Knauf, a 6-foot-4, 295-pound, offensive lineman from Stratford, Wisconsin is becoming a hot Midwest prospect. College recruiters have been comparing Knauf to former Wisconsin prepstar and current Michigan Wolverine Adam Stenavich.

Luke Knauf, a 6-foot-4, 295-pound, offensive lineman from Stratford, Wisconsin is becoming one of the most talked about prospects in the Midwest.

Knauf has a couple of scholarship offers and he's in no hurry to make a verbal commitment.

"Iowa and Wisconsin have offered me a scholarship." Knauf said. "Iowa, Stanford, Wisconsin, Nebraska and Northwestern are my favorites.

"I'm going to take some official visits at the end of the year and then I'll make a decision. Education is the #1 priority for me. I want to major in either biochemistry or pre-law."

Knauf transferred from Marshfield (Columbus) to Stratford after the school dropped its football program. Knauf played for his father at Columbus. Luke will be a four-year varsity starter in 2002.

Knauf was named all-state on both sides of the ball in 2001. He was named conference lineman of the year as well. He averages 17ppg in basketball and he also participates in track & field.

Luke carries a 3.85 GPA in the classroom.
