Former Badgers head to Hawaii

Five recent UW football players will play in Hula Bowl; Darius Jones in Las Vegas

Six former Wisconsin football players are expected to show off their wares for NFL scouts this weekend, five at the Hula Bowl in Wailuku, Hawaii.

Offensive guard prospects Jonathan Clinkscale and Mike Lorenz, defensive tackle Jason Jefferson, defensive end Jonathan Welsh and cornerback Scott Starks are on East roster for the Hula Bowl, which will be televised live on ESPN at 6 p.m. Central Saturday.

Defensive lineman Darius Jones, who lettered three seasons at UW but left the team prior to the 2004 season, is participating for the East roster at the Las Vegas All-American Classic, also on Saturday. Fox Sports Net will televise that game live at 3 p.m. Central.
