Leading up to the season opener Aug.30, BadgerNation will announce its list of the 30 most important players to the Badgers' success in the 2014 season. With Wisconsin needing to remake the entire front seven, this fifth-year senior - coming it at No.20 on our list - will be an important part of the defense.

With plenty left to prove in his fifth year in the program, Marcus Trotter will look to provide an impact at the linebacker position this season. His strong frame will help him become a defensive nightmare to opposing running backs and offensive linemen.
