Burke (VA) Lake Braddock Secondary senior wide receiver A.J. Alexander made the trek up to Madison this past weekend to see what the Badgers have to offer. After his two day trip, he left feeling more than satisfied with it exceeding his expectations.
“It went great,” Alexander told BadgerNation. “I got the opportunity to see everything that I needed to see and meet all the coaches. They were all telling me to think Wisconsin and they want me to come there. It is my first time there and it was better than what I expected. I thought it was going to be some rural, desolate place, but it was very urban and I enjoyed that.
“I got to see everything. I got to see the entire campus. I got a tour yesterday and got to be in the dorms and met all the freshmen.”
Throughout the process, wide receiver coach Chris Beatty has been preaching how badly the 6-3, 220-pound physical wide out is wanted in Madison.
“Coach Beatty is my recruiter. He is the reason why I came up there,” said Alexander. “He gave me the message to come to Wisconsin, so it was definitely a good visit.”
With the visit to Wisconsin in the books, Alexander ranked the visit as a perfect 10 out of 10.
“It was a great visit and I got to see everything I needed to see,” he said. “It just exceeded my expectations. The process is ending, so committing is definitely something I have been considering. Wisconsin is definitely top one or two. I don’t have a top list, but without a doubt, Wisconsin is near the top.”
Alexander plans to decide sometime during his senior season after taking two or three official visits.
Stopping by Madison for an unofficial visit, Burke (VA) Lake Braddock Secondary wide receiver A.J. Alexander ranked his trip the University of Wisconsin as a perfect 10.
