Manu Plans Wisconsin Visit
Pocatello (ID) Highland junior outside linebacker Kyler Manu committed to Boise State since April, but that hasn't slowed down his recruitment. "My recruitment is going good," Manu told BadgerNation. "Washington offered the other day along with Utah and Utah State." One of the schools that offered the 6-2, 200-pound linebacker is Wisconsin. Intrigued by the Badgers, Manu – a three-star prospect by Scout.com - has planned a trip up to Madison later this month to check out it. "I'm coming up the 12-15 to Wisconsin," said Manu. "I'm pretty excited to see what they have to offer and to get a good comparison with other schools. I'm looking forward to hanging out with the linebacker coach and I have medium interest in them. I want to find out where I would fin with them mainly." Manu has plenty of connections to the UW coaching staff; his dad knows head coach Gary Andersen through Iowa State, offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig is married to my mom's cousin and defensive line coach Chad Kauha'aha'a's son played for his uncle. "I am coming with my dad and oh yeah, he is excited!" exclaimed Manu. "He is just excited to catch up with old friends. I just hope they can show me some love on my visit." Manu will be visiting Stanford the weekend after his visit to Wisconsin.
