Selection Sunday has finally arrived and the bracket is in its final stages of completion.
Wisconsin is sitting comfortably on the two seed line in spite of the loss to Michigan State. The Badgers have an impressive comprehensive body of work and solidified their spot in my projection with the win over Minnesota on Friday.
Heading into Sunday, Michigan has joined the ranks of the number one seeds. With a win over Michigan State to win the Big Ten tournament, the Wolverines should lock up a top seed. If they lose, the winner of the ACC Championship game between Duke and Virginia is in line to take that spot. Villanova could have had a chance to maintain that spot if the three teams mentioned here would have lost before Sunday.
Providence was a surprise winner of the Big East tournament; however I had them in the field for good prior to its victory over Creighton, meaning they did not take a bid away from another bubble team
Louisville, winners of the American Conference, will be seeded lower than its record might indicate. At 29-5, most will see the name "Louisville" and assume they will be on the two line at worst. However this Cardinals team has a rather unimpressive résumé and with an underwhelming amount of quality wins, they find themselves sitting on the three line. They will have a chance to move up should Duke lose the ACC Championship.
