Brendan Kelly forces a fumble (Fleming/13)

Follow along for free on BadgerNation's Drive Blog. No.16 Wisconsin held its sixth opponent out of the end zone and held the Golden Gophers to 185 total yards, as the Badgers beat Minnesota, 20-7, for their 10th straight win in the "rivalry."

MINNEAPOLIS - The trophy cases inside Wisconsin's locker room will be full for a least another year.

Senior tailback James White rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown and the Badgers defense didn't allow a touchdown for the sixth time this season, as No.16 Wisconsin beat Minnesota, 20-7, in front of a 53,090.

It's the tenth straight win over its border rivals for Wisconsin (9-2, 6-1 Big Ten), the longest such streak by either school in the longer running series in school history, and the sixth straight win for the Badgers, who once again did it with defense.

Limiting Minnesota (8-3, 4-3) to 185 yards, the Badgers' defense has held an opposing offense without a touchdown in six games this season, including three straight conference games. Wisconsin hasn't allowed an offensive touchdown in conference since the final minutes of the fourth quarter against Illinois on Oct.19.

Leading 13-7 at halftime, Wisconsin effectively iced the game on its opening drive in the third quarter, going 83 yards in 12 plays and eating up the first 7:05 of the quarter. Stave, who threw a pick-six in the second quarter to give the Gophers a 7-3 lead, went 6-for-6 for 68 yards on the statement drive.
