The 6-1, 205-pound Calhoun - rated an early three-star recruit and the No. 19 outside linebacker in the country by Scout.com – exploded on the recruiting scene with his stellar 110-tackle junior season and first-team all-league defensive most valuable player.
"I just want to know more about them with Wisconsin being such a great school and program," Calhoun told Badger Nation. "I know (teammate) Adarius (Pickett) has been getting things from them and we have talked about playing together. We are very much trying to play with each other."
Calhoun is likely to visit Washington, Arizona and California in the spring, but brought up the possibility of taking a Wisconsin visit in the future. Wanting to decide on a school before his senior year is over, Calhoun hopes that the passion he has for the game will be what impressed college coaches the most.
"I play the game like nobody can get me," he said. "I play full out and I try not to take a few plays off if I am tired. I can't let that stop (me) and (if) anything in my way, I am going to hit. That is what football is to me on defense (and) on the line. I like to hurt people."
