Video: Nile Sykes at Core 6 Showcase

Lombard Montini (Ill.) class of 2014 linebacker Nile Sykes showed his versatility at the Core 6 Showcase.

Nile Sykes profile

We've always known Sykes can rush the passer, but with him transitioning to stand up linebacker at Montini, and more schools looking at him as a potential SAM, he needed to go out and prove he could run and cover. At the Showcase, he did that, while showing he did not forget how to rush the passer either. He's still learning as far as footwork and coverage, but has the natural tools to pick those things up quickly.
