Senior Bowl: Every rep counts for Hill

Jordan Hill

Penn State defensive lineman Jordan Hill spoke with FOX Sports NEXT at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.

MOBILE, Ala. — Penn State defensive lineman Jordan Hill started his career where most college freshmen do, on the scout team.

It only took a few games into the season before the Penn State coaching staff realized they had a talent on their hands who should be playing in games, not just in practice.

"As a freshman I was anxious to get on the field. I didn't care how much I played," Hill said after practice in Mobile. "But that was a big privilege."

He continued to improve each season at Penn State, earning him a trip to the Senior Bowl this week to play alongside and against the country's top senior NFL prospects. "It's more of a game-like experience during practice," he explained of the experience. "There's not a rep you can take off because if you do you're going to look bad."

Hill officially weighed in at 6-foot-1.5 294-pounds.

He is currently projected as a fourth round pick in April's draft.
