Daniels Highly Considering Boiler Offer

If all checks out for Chicago Foreman (Ill.) senior defensive tackle Johnny Daniels, he may commit this weekend.

Purdue offered Chicago Foreman's 6'5, 241-lb defensive lineman Johnny Daniels today, and the senior was floored by receiving the good news.

"Actually, Purdue has been a dream school of mine since I was younger. Purdue is amazing. It's unexplainable. The academics and athletics are both top notch. It's somewhere where I can see myself playing at and am interested in being."

When asked who else he is considering, Daniels said "no one."

With an official visit slated for the Boilers at the end of this week, he may be the next to join the class.

"Yes, it's a possibility," he said of a commitment. "This weekend I will see if it's the perfect place for me."

Daniels said he has not been to West Lafayette before and that he is being recruited as a defensive tackle.
