Snapshots: Core 6 Winter Showcase

There were plenty of talented prospects on hand Monday for the annual Core 6 Showcase in Westmont, Ill. Check out FOXSports NEXT candid pictures of the event.

The state was set, nearly 200 of Chicago's top 2014-2015 prospects gathered in Westmont Yard in Westmont, Ill. for Monday's Core 6 Winter Showcase.

The group gathered in the indoor complex. Outside the temperatures hovered around 6-degrees.

Each group was divided up by position for warm-ups.

The defensive backs rotate through stations to warm up.

During Monday's event, several Class of 2013 members of Core 6 athletes helped coach -- and Crete-Monee defensive back Jaylen Dunlap committed to Illinois.

Thornton Twp. junior wide receiver Juwan Wesley picked up a new Illinois offer and was one of the top offensive performers on the day.

The Core 6 lineman huddle up, the group was highlighted by Montini (Ill.) defensive lineman Dylan Thompson, Gianacakos and others.

6-foot-6, 215 pound tight end Ian Bunting has offers from Illinois, Vanderbilt, and Purdue.

After one-on-ones, the day concluded with the athletes hudding up to receive awards.
