Lincoln, NE- Coming off a tough loss to the Wisconsin Badgers on Sunday afternoon, Tim Miles and crew head to Ann Arbor, Michigan, to take on the No. 2 Michigan Wolverines.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers were given no favors to begin the season, first starting at No. 8 Ohio State, at home against the Wisconsin Badgers, and now a trip to the Crisler Arena.

For the Wolverines, it starts with Trey Burke, All-American point guard. He will likely give Nebraska all they can handle.

"We have to get him under control in transition," said Miles. "Defensively, we have to keep them in front of us."

Michigan was expected to have a good team this year, but at 15-0, the Wolverines are continuing to exceed expectations.

"Michigan is as good as a team as I've seen all year," said Miles. "They're outstanding, they've got talent, they're well coached, and they make great decisions."

The Huskers played well on the defensive end against the Badgers, but against the Wolverines, who average 82 points a game – good for seventh in the country, an even stronger defensive effort will be required.

"They've shot the three so well," said Miles. "So now you have to take away transition, you have to take away the inside game."

On offense, Nebraska continues to struggle. Scoring just 41 points against Wisconsin, the first-year head coach is looking to get more drives and cuts to the basket. The team goes as Ray Gallegos goes, so getting him involved will be a key for the Huskers.

"I would like Ray on the attack, I would like Ray getting fouled more," said Miles.

Miles also said senior center Andre Almeida will play after missing Sunday's game versus the Badgers.

The Huskers and Wolverines square off , Wednesday night, 6pm CT on the Big Ten Network.
