Ht, Wt, Speed - 6-foot-5, 285-pounds, 5.5

High School - Elmhurst (Ill.) York

Honors - Named all-conference in 2002.

Scholarship Offers - No offers at this time.


Favorites - Notre Dame, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Illinois and Colorado.

Comments - Emerging as an Illinois prospect to watch in 2003, Guimon is beginning to pop up on several recruiting boards in the Midwest.

“I don’t have any scholarship offers yet,” said Guimon. “I’m hearing mostly from the Big Ten schools as well as Notre Dame, Colorado and Boston College.

“My favorites are Notre Dame, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Illinois and Colorado.

“I’ve already been to Illinois and Notre Dame on unofficial visits and I went to Notre Dame’s spring game as well.”

Brian Guimon was a state wrestling qualifier at 275-pounds. Brian says he’ll be attending the lineman camps at both Illinois and Northwestern.
