Miller Plans Visits
MADISON - At 6-foot-8 and 290 pounds, Kwayde Miller - a three-star recruit rated the No.62 offensive tackle – is an obvious presence on the field for Ramona (Calif.) HS. Now his scholarship offers and interest have matched that presence. Miller held offers from San Diego State and Wisconsin heading into the summer, but has seen his offer list grow to Colorado State, Oregon, Oregon State and Washington State. Miller also said Boise State, UCLA and USC have continued to show interest since coming through in the spring. As was the case with Oregon, who offered Miller at the beginning of June, the Ducks' impression of Miller was impressive from the start. "They came through during spring ball, they saw the film and they liked what they see," Miller told Badger Nation about Oregon. "Since then, I've had regular contact with them through email and phone." With his offer list having grown, Miller is ready to start taking visits over the next few weeks, and the offensive tackle is heading for Arizona State, Oregon and Wisconsin. "Well I'm definitely excited (about the Wisconsin visit)," Miller said. "I'm planning on just to get a feel for the school and the program." Being recruited by Wisconsin offensive line coach Bob Bostad, Miller said the two still talk on a routine basis, talking about football and the Wisconsin's offensive line tradition. "It's been good," Miller said. "He wants guys that are going to come in and complete the tradition. I think there are only two more offensive line scholarships, so that's something to think about." Currently, Miller's recruiting plan is to narrow down his choices near the end of his football season and pick a school at a press conference at his high school. For now through, Miller has five schools out in front. "My top five are Wisconsin, Arizona State, San Diego State, Oregon and Boise State," Miller said.
