Receiving dozens of scholarship offers from around the country, Barrington (Ill) offensive lineman Dan Voltz decided Sunday that he will play in the Big Ten.

Dan Voltz, a four-star offensive guard recruited by co-defensive coordinator Chris Ash, has become the first verbal commitment in Wisconsin's 2012 recruiting class.
