Admitting his second season has been a struggle on the court, sophomore Ryan Evans grasped a heavy dose of confidence at the right time for No.19 Wisconsin. Not only did Evans score 10 points off the bench, including the go-ahead bucket in the final minute, he came up clutch on the defensive end to help the Badgers outlast No.11 Purdue, 66-59.

MADISON - The young journey of Ryan Evans has been far from smooth. After scoring 26 points in his first two games, including back-back 11-point outings, Evans had averaged just 1.7 points per game over his previous 17 outings, and had played less than 10 minutes in the last seven games.
